One of the staple Japanese restaurants is Sumo Sam. It is owned by Marvin Agustin (actor), Ricky Laudico and Raymund Magdaluyo. It has been serving great Japanese food for the past 6 years. Now, this food brand has established itself in Davao, and right before Christmas, it has opened another branch at Granada Street, Barangay Valencia.

Sumo Sam continues to serve food that we all love, from sushi to sashimi, from tempura to ramen, and of course, to complete meals in their Yokozuna bento boxes.

I normally just get their sushi since they have various kinds to choose from, but these bento boxes look absolutely delish! These are available only at the Gilmore branch from 11 am – 2 pm.

If you’re near the Gilmore-New Manila-San Juan-Ortigas area, do drop by the new branch of Sumo Sam!
