Salad Stop: New Franchise from the SSI Group Ginger Arboleda January 8, 2015 Food & Dining, Reviews Voracious eater. I haven’t eaten voraciously for the longest time, but during the holidays, it seems like this is how you should describe me each time. Gigil sa pagkain, in Tagalog! With all the fat and the bad cholesterol, I need to shift to eating healthy as soon as possible. My husband and I got the feeling we needed to do it immediately that was why we got to discover this place called Salad Stop. Okay, I admit. I shouldn’t have used the word discovered. We have known about this place since we usually go to the Bonifacio High Street area and Salad Stop is located outside the new mall; Hence, people (including us) can ‘clearly’ see it. We attempted to enter several times, but always ended up in a burger or pizza place. But that day, we knew that we just had to enter and try this new franchise of the SSI Group. That entire new mall carries all the brands that SSI brough in and franchised. Salad Stop BGC Cozy restaurant of Salad Stop! Upon entering the place, I immediately fell in love with Salad Stop! I have always loved healthy food. I love salad (even if it makes me gassy… sorry, too much sharing). I love the ambiance and the theme of light wood and shades of green is just perfect. Everything was so fresh, light and raw. I immediately looked at the menu and you can customize your own salad or wrap. I was super overwhelmed though when I looked at the instructions. I wished they had a simpler way of explaining this. I would have loved to customized my own salad but the instructions were full of text and I hate reading instructions! LOL! So, I ended up just ordering one of their signature salads. What I love about the menu board is that they show the calories that you will be consuming. This is just perfect since just recently I have decided to activate My Fitness Pal account again. I hope that Salad Stop can already set the different salad choices that they are offering in My Fitness Pal! We ordered the Hail Caesar and the Go Geisha. Each was served in a big bowl. Each serving was just right. I was super full after finishing the bowl. My husband couldn’t finish his. The Hail Caesar was delicious, although the calories of this were higher than that of Go Geisha. Go Geisha and Hail Caesar from Salad Stop Go Geisha had cold noodles, lettuce, carrots, corn and edamame, which my husband loved. Go Geisha from Salad Stop Hail Caesar from Salad Stop After having our salad, we also bought yogurt to bring back to our home. They had mango, strawberry and raspberry yogurt. Each cup was at Php 150. We loved it. Our daughter loved it, too! During that week, we went back twice. That’s actually surprising. We’re not really a couple who would look and crave for healthy salad, but we loved eating at Salad Stop.
