Motherhood is the most precious gift a woman can receive. Raising a child is not a walk in the park; from pregnancy the woman is already experiencing challenges up to delivery and way up to raising up a child, motherhood is indeed a 24/7 job.

It’s every mom’s pride and joy to witness her child’s achievements and milestones. Whether is the first smile or first steps or first word, truly, a mom remembers all of those. It’s a priceless moment for mothers to be there and capture that special milestone. This only signifies that a mom’s hardwork, teachings, and encouragement are worth it.

MOM + AMAZING = MOMAZING

You may call that feeling “momazing”. It is the feeling of knowing that everything that mother’s do is just right. These moments refer to mothers’ experiences of their child achieving a developmental milestone. These momazing moments can happen anytime, anywhere, and they make every day count.

Scott’s recognizes these moments and supports all moms’ endeavors to help kids reach remarkable milestones. Scott’s helps build foundations to help children flourish. That is at the heart of everything Scott’s does. Scott’s wants to recognize and celebrate those moments, which make motherhood feel so special.

In line with this, Scott’s launched the #Momazing campaign, which highlights the special moments between parents and their children last May 9-10, 2015 at SM Megamall. This campaign aims to capture wonderful moments between mom and child, share the experiences online and inspire more moms to be #Momazing.

The event was hosted by Daphne Oseña-Paez, an entrepreneur, UNICEF advocate and mother of three and Dimples Romana, an award-nominated actress and a mother of two.

During the event, three guest moms were also invited to talk about their #momazing moments and shared valuable insights on motherhood. Fleur Sombrero (www.mommyfleur.com), shared her experiences on being a working mom but still able to establish quality time with her children. She said that despite her busy schedule at work, she makes sure that she is present to witness her child’s milestones. For her, children should be our first priority. There are times that she needs to drop her important business engagements just to be with her child.

Michelle Lim (www.mymomfriday.com), is a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom said that staying at home doesn’t mean she is not doing anything; actually being a stay-at-home mom means everything! She gave up her corporate life to become a full-time mom and she admitted that it was not an easy adjustment for her. Her blog serves as an inspiration to other stay-at-home moms to embrace motherhood to the fullest.

Third mommy guest was Michelle Ressa Aventajado (www.mommanmanila.com), a mother of four, shared her thoughts and feelings of having a child with Down Syndrome. I admire her courage of sharing her special child to the world through her blog. She is very active in raising awareness about Down Syndrome.

Apart from the sharing of these amazing moms, there were also a lot of activities inside the event area. These activities were to create #Momazing moments with their children. Children enjoyed balloon twisting and face painting. There was also a photobooth where parents and children can record their actions in seven seconds and turn it into a flipbook. A video booth was also set to allow both mom and child to record endearing messages to each other. It was mentioned that they will select videos on which they will turn into something viral. Hoping that our video will be chosen, hihi.
