Revisiting Cafe Juanita Ginger Arboleda April 27, 2011 Food & Dining, Featured, Reviews 1 Comment We fell in love with Cafe Juanita when we discovered its first branch in Pasig City. It’s near the place where I work and also near my house. I used to go there with family and friends. Now that we are about to transfer to our condo in Bonifacio Global City, I’m glad that they have this new branch in Burgos Circle. Cafe Juanita will always feel like a home away from home. Cafe Juanita at Burgos Circle I brought my friend, Fleur and her husband, Alvin, to that new branch. I knew what to order and I volunteered to be in charge of ordering our meals (secretly hoping that they would love the food, too). For appetizers, we ordered the Catfish Mango Salad (Php 280). It was a crispy Thai inspired dish that had that sour flavor that was mouth-watering. Cafe Juanita's Catfish Mango Salad Catfish Mango Salad For our main dishes, we ordered the Bagnet (Php 357). This dish captured the hearts of the our husbands. The crispy fried pork belly with the tomato bagoong salsa was a perfect “ulam” for rice. It was actually good to have done this so that those longing for the tofu alone can actually eat only this part.
