I would love to go to Tagaytay at this time of the year. Everyone’s complaining about the weather, that it’s so hot and humid. Tagaytay is the place to go if you want to cool down, but don’t want to go to somewhere far. But if you really, really want to cool down, you can go to the Cliffhouse and order ice cream from Mochiko or from Fling, Tagaytay.

Fling is a stall that offers healthy, frozen yoghurt. You can order a small order, which they call Casual, priced at Php 85, or you can order the bigger tub called All the Way, priced at Php 125.

Toppings are at Php 25 for each topping that you want to add.

Mochiko on the other hand serves Mochi balls. It is a Japanese confection that is made out of glutinous rice flour. Mochiko is filled with ice cream. Every time we plan to go to Tagaytay, I get very excited, since I know that I will be able to buy Mochi balls from Mochiko.

My favorite is the Azuki (red bean) flavor. The other flavors are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, caramel, green tea, and black sesame. Each mocha ball is at Php 70. Mochiko also has a stall at the Mercato Centrale every weekend, so if you’re lazy to go to Tagaytay, you can get these delights there.

Hi Jackie, you know the spot in tagaytay with Teriyaki Boy, Leslie's, Starbucks, etc? At the end of that (volcano side), there's a small driveway going into Cliffhouse's parking lot. I'm adding a map also above.
