It has been a while since I last visited Sonya's Garden. I have been to Tagaytay a couple of times during the previous year (2011), but never really got the chance to go back there. It was a good thing that during the Holidays, we had some balikbayans visit us in Manila and visiting Tagaytay was part of the itinerary.

My family and I decided to have a day trip to Calaca, Batangas. One way to go there is through Tagaytay. Since it was around 11 pm and everybody had not had anything to eat yet, we decided to have brunch at Antonio’s Grill. Check out what we ordered!

I would love to go to Tagaytay at this time of the year. Everyone’s complaining about the weather, that it’s so hot and humid. Tagaytay is the place to go if you want to cool down, but don’t want to go to somewhere far. But if you really, really want to cool down, you can go to the Cliffhouse and order ice cream from Mochiko or from Fling, Tagaytay.

Antonio's is one of the most well known restaurants in the local foodie scene. Many foodies would say that the 2-hour trip up Tagaytay is well worth it just to indulge in the culinary delights served in this resto. Read more about our review of Antonio's Tagaytay!
