Antonio’s Grill Tagaytay MikeyTang May 17, 2011 Featured, Food & Dining, Reviews My family and I decided to have a day trip to Calaca, Batangas. One way to go there is through Tagaytay. Since it was around 11 pm and everybody had not had anything to eat yet, we decided to have brunch at Antonio’s Grill to try out more dishes from Chef Tonyboy Escalante. Antonio's Grill Since it was still early for lunch, the restaurant was empty when we arrive. Service was fast since we had the attention of the waiting staff all to ourselves. Together with the usual condiments, they readied a cup each of chopped pepper, garlic and onion. When we go to Antonio’s Grill Tagaytay, we always order their specialty, the Bulalo. But this time, we skipped that and instead, we tried their other specialty, the Fried Tawilis. For those people who are suckers for fish and dipping it in vinegar, this dish is for you. Fried Tawilis We also ordered Calamares, which is too flour-y for my taste. Calamares For our main course, we ordered Kare-Kare, Sinigang na Bangus, and Kalderetang Kambing. Though the food was a little bit expensive, their servings is big enough to feed 5-6 people, especially their Kare-Kare and Sinigang. At this point, while we were eating these two dishes, the people also started coming in. Kare - Kare Sinigang na Bangus Kalderetang Kambing By the end of our meal, we were already full. We didn’t have enough space in our stomachs to order dessert. The next time I come back to Antonio’s Grill Tagaytay, I will try their other specialties. Here are the other dishes that you can order: Contact Details: Antonio’s Grill Tagaytay One Destination, Aguinaldo Hi-Way, Tagaytay City Phone Number: (046) 483 4847 Be Sociable, Share!
