Fashionistas, come one and come all! Bring your friends and family to this Designer Sale of Renan Pacson. The three day sale starts today from 9am to 7 pm at Sunview Palace, MH Del Pilar, Cornert TM Kalaw Ermita Manila (opposite the National Library).

I hope that you have somehow and somewhere heard of Hot Young Designers. HYD was started by my friend and I to help designers launch their own collections. Yesterday, these five talented designers launched their second collection for Fashion Face Off 2011 (which is the competition aspect). The first collection made by the designers for HYD was launched last October 2011. They were quite a hit at the Global Pinoy Bazaar, St. James Bazaar and at the Rockwell Moonlit Bazaar. We hope that this second collection will be a hit, as well!

There are not a lot of bazaars during the months of January to June, but the fact is, we all need to be stylish and look for great bargains even after the 'ber' months. I always find it a hard time to look for the perfect clothes and shoes for Valentines day. Also, it takes me a while to look for the perfect summer get up or the perfect prom attire. I have this resolution of purchasing the best office clothes for this coming year, and yet, I need time to check each store in the metropolis to look for one that really suits me. Hot Young Designers, together with Studio SnR, are calling out to home based businesses that want to address all of these fashion needs. Do you have a home based business that you want to promote? The St. James the Great Bazaar is on its 20th year. It will be on November 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30, 2011 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) at Ayala Alabang Village. The Bazaar is from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The first time we met Renan, we couldn't believe that such a talented Filipino was working abroad (UAE). This 25 year old lad started designing clothes for his paper dolls with his sister. He's an organic designer, who responds to fabrics or inspiration from just about anything.

This 24 year old lady who graduated from Ateneo de Manila is an independent candidate for the Hot Young Fashion Face Off 2011. She studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco California. She impressed us during the screening, not only with her sense of style, but even with her preparedness. She came in bringing two book bound portfolios of her designs, which was neatly and attractively organized.

When we met Bailey, she exuded great confidence. This mother of two established her own name a couple of years ago through a brand of swimwear called Baileylicious. She now wants to diversify and to create ready-to-wear pieces. Now, Bailey is one of our five designer contestants for HYD's Fashion Face Off 2011.

I met Marc last year when he was a designer contestant for another fashion competition, where we were media partners. When I saw his designs this year as compared to last year, I see how much he has grown and improved. This year, I saw that he was more confident than he was before. Seeing this change, I'm excited to see the Marc Blanco that "will be" a year from now, after this competition.

The first time I met Jackie, she was the first one who arrived for the first run of our screening. She was in Le Bistro Vert at exactly 2:00 pm. We thought that this was something that one should look for in a designer. Her professionalism stood out, and we are proud to have her as one of our finalists.

Congrats to the designers who made it! We are all excited to see the designs that you will create for the Hot Young Designers Fashion Face Off 211!
