Marc Blanco: Designer Contestant of Fashion Face Off 2011

I met Marc last year when he was a designer contestant for another fashion competition, where we were media partners. When I saw his designs this year as compared to last year, I see how much he has grown and improved. This year, I saw that he was more confident than he was before. Seeing this change, I’m excited to see the Marc Blanco that “will be” a year from now, after this competition.

Marc is enrolled with the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. He has only one year experience as a designer, but he can already do amazing work. His craftsmanship is phenomenal. At 22 years old, this young lad already exhibits potential and remarkable attention to detail. His strength is making jackets and working with leather and denim.
