Chef Nicolas Cantrel debuts as Restaurant 101’s new Executive Chef with a special dinner that showcases his culinary savoir-faire, on Saturday, the 1st of October 2011, 7:30PM at Enderun Colleges; he will be joined by French Chefs Jérôme Lacressonnière and Franck Geuffroy from Alain Ducasse Formation. La Cuisine d’Alain Ducasse by Nicolas Cantrel celebrates the culinary philosophy of world-renowned Chef Alain Ducasse, applying the best techniques to the freshest ingredients, cooked with the passion and attention to detail that are the hallmarks of the great chefs. The dinner will be complemented with carefully selected French wines from the local wine distributor Sommelier Selection.

Enderun Wine Appreciation Nights

Upon entering places like CAV, Galileo, Titania or Barcino to buy gifts for male relatives or friends, I get so overwhelmed with the different kinds of wines. I really have no idea on how to check which wine would suit the taste of the person I'm giving the wine as a gift to. I wouldn't even know the difference between brands, countries of origin, taste, and price. I just know that there is red and white wine. Well, Enderun will come out with a Wine Appreciation night. It is actually a series of nights, since for each of the night, wines from particular region or regions will be featured. This event will help us understand wine better.

Enderun and Chef Marc Chalopin- Discover Cuisine

I am starving. Right now, here. In Enderun, after almost 1.5 hours of Chef Marc Chapolin's culinary exhibition, the scent of his cooking wafts up to us 6 rows away. His bouillabaisse has a delicious orange-lemon aroma. His sliced baguettes further makes my tummy grumble with that garlic. His provencal sauce looks so good and if Abet's reaction was any indication, also something to look forward to.
