Upon entering places like CAV, Galileo, Titania or Barcino to buy gifts for male relatives or friends, I get so overwhelmed with the different kinds of wines. I really have no idea on how to check which wine would suit the taste of the person I’m giving the wine as a gift to. I wouldn’t even know the difference between brands, countries of origin, taste, and price. I just know that there is red and white wine. Well, Enderun will come out with a Wine Appreciation night. It is actually a series of nights, since for each of the night, wines from particular region or regions will be featured. This event will help us understand wine better.

To help participants understand wine from particular regions, Enderun has invited Ruth Von Siebenthal Hung, a principal lecturer at Enderun’s International Hospitality Program and Gerald Savigny, who has had 18 years of experience in hotel management in Europe, Middle East and South East Asia.

The schedule for the Wine Appreciation Nights are as follows:
August 3: Italy
August 17: Chile/Argentina
September 1: Bordeaux/Burgundy
September 18: California/Australia
