It’s 6:00 pm and as i’m starting to write this blog post, I know that we will leave in a while for SM Aura to celebrate my daughter’s 7th month birthday. I can’t believe how fast time flies. It also has been a year since I have resigned from work to be a work-at-home-mom. I can very well say that in one year, I have been more productive than ever!

Yes, there had been bumps along the way. There were obstacles that I had to overcome, but aside from the support of my husband and family, I am glad that I am part of the WAHMdeful Life Sisterhood! Although, not all of us have met each other offline, we have been constantly in touch with each other online through a Facebook group called Manila Work-at-home-moms (although not all of us are from Manila). Aside from the online conversations, we have met each other offline in the WAHMderful Life workshops that are set at least every two months.

This coming October 27, 2013, we are celebrating our one year anniversary at SMX Taguig Convention Center from 9 AM to 5 PM. We would like to invite moms/wives/dads/etc. — basically, all those who want to explore life working-from-home.

I can honestly say that this group has given me so much support during the time that I was adjusting from working in the office to working from the house. This is one of the groups where I truly feel welcome and support is readily given to any one and to everyone. I am proud to be part of this sisterhood of over 800 members.

To those who I have not yet met offline, I would love to meet you! Do sign up now using the form below. This event is Co-presented by DSM, Quali Blends, Quali C, Quali D, Quali A and Unilab. Major Sponsors are Alta Fitflops and Calchews.

There is an ongoing deal that will run from October 1 to October 10. Rates are lowered to Php 2000, so sign up and pay within the promo period.
