I’m a fan of Cupcakes by Sonja so I was happy for them when I heard that they were opening a branch at the East Wing of Shangri-la Plaza Mall. We recently visited the new branch and I found the place really nice. It is bigger than the branch that they have at Serendra. It can probably accommodate around 20 people, plus they have an area where kids can stay. They also have a huge window to the kitchen, where you can watch them bake your favorite cupcakes.

Cupcakes by Sonja also announced a partnership with Move.org. The former is supporting this organization in their feeding programs. The goal is to help Move.org to raise funds within the next 3 months. The funds will go to the construction of a kitchen needed by Move.org for its feeding program.

For this #sweetcause, Cupcakes for Sonja has introduced the cake cups. A portion of the proceeds from the cake cups will go to this cause. These cake cups come in three flaovrs — Tres Leches with Strawberries, Coffee Caramel Biscoff Crunch and Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut Praline. Also, customers get adorable cupcake pencils for every minimum purchase of cake cups. I tried the Coffee CAramel Biscoff Crunch and it was heavenly! I can’t wait to try the other flavors.
