Impact: A Fashion and Communication Workshop

I am so excited for this! Have you ever seen someone and admired the way she dresses? Have you ever opened your closet and wondered why you had so many stuff and yet only 1/3 really gets worn? Have you ever listened to a presentation and wondered how a speaker can get so good at convincing people and wondered where the confidence comes from? Have you ever gone to a job interview or even a casting go see and no matter how many you go to, you never get picked?

Well, we came across this workshop by Manila Workshops for you. It’s called Impact: a Personality Development workshop. It will teach you how to dress and communicate with Impact. If you want to be a “head-turner”, this workshop is for you. If you want to be a charming conversationalist, this workshop is for you.

It will be on August 11, 2012 (Saturday) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be at Studio SnR, Millenium Plaza Building, Meralco Avenue.

Another great thing about this workshop is that it will be conducted by Renan Pacson and Robert Tetteroo. Renan is the grand winner of the coveted title of MEGA YOUNG DESIGNER 2012 and part of Hot Young Designers. Robert is a Regional Training and Development Manager for a global port operator. He has 10 years of experience as a professional trainer on leadership styles, management skills, soft skill competencies and talent development and course design. He is a certified Co-active coach (life coaching) and an author of a children’s book.

– Dressing appropriately

– Do’s and dont’s for each body type

10:45-11:00 am: Break/networking/exercise

11:00 am – 1:00 pm: (Robert) Communicate with Impact
– How we communicate
– Body language, movement and posture
– The voice
– The message

1:00 – 2:00 pm: Lunch break

2:00 – 3:00 pm: Continuation of Communication with Impact
– Interpersonal savvy
– Building rapport
– Approachable or credible?
– The elevator speech

3:00 – 3:30 pm: Coffee break/Exercise

3:45 – 5:00 pm: Exercise
– Practicing elevator speech/exercise
– Wrapping up / Q&A
