Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers

A few months ago, I saw the pictures of the food served at Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers on the internet. I wanted to visit, but unfortunately, when we did, the store was still closed that time. It turns out, it was still preparing for its soft opening.

We got to eat at Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers recently with some other blogger friends. I enjoyed my order — the WiseGuy Burger.

Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers WiseGuy Burger

The Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers WiseGuy Burger is composed of 200 grams of well cooked burger patty with toasted and crispy bacon, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. It is priced at Php 295 for the burger alone and Php 345 for a meal that comes with drinks and fries.

Another favorite of ours was the Pat and Geno’s Sandwich. Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers did a good job by including this in their menu. This is a Philadelphia Angus cheese steak sandwich. The cheese was creamy and it was a good compliment to the tender Angus beef. It also had onions to add flavor and spice. This dish has been getting a lot of raves from famous writers and food columnists. This costs Php 270, with drinks and fries already.

Of course, Steaks are also a staple in their menu. What my husband loved of all the steaks was the Dry Aged Prime Angus beef. It was one of the special offerings in their “Today’s Special” board. I think it costed us more than Php 2000 for the dish, but it was delicious. They have cheaper alternatives like their Vito’s Cut (Php 995), Micheal’s Prime (Php 975), Santino’s (Php 875) and their Goodfellas House steak (Php 325).

Carlito’s Gang

I loved the appetizers. We tried the Carlito’s Gang, which was Angus Salpicao (Php 375 to share) and the Gambino’s Family or the gambas or shrimp salpicao (Php 375 to share). The way they cooked the Angus salpicao was quite unique. Instead of the strong garlic flavors, it had a sweetened mixture that almost had the same taste of Sukiyaki. It was delightfully different. The shrimp were substantial and appetizing. I loved the big button mushrooms mixed with it.

Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers also offered other dishes with rice, pasta and dessert. We got to try the decadent cake (Php 120) and the carrot cake (Php 120). We also got to try the Toblerone cheese cake at Php 150. For the decadent and carrot cake, I wanted to see more texture for the carrot cake. My husband liked the decadent cake though. It was a “straight forward no-frills” cake. The Toblerone cheese cake would make any sweeth tooth very happy!

Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers also serves wines. These would be good compliments for your meals.

The look and feel of the place was Mafia inspired. It had pictures of Mafia families on the wall and photos of scenes from the Godfather, and other Mafia movies.

If you are in the Quezon City area, you can drop by Goodfellas Steaks and Burgers for these dishes. It is a great lunch and dinner restaurant, where a family can enjoy a relaxing meal.
