I took Ballet lessons when I was 5 years old. I loved it, even though I was a fat kid. I remember getting ready for my car ride to Metro Dance and Arts Studio with my sister and yaya. At that time, ballet was quite an "in" thing for kids our age. I think it still is, although I haven't been to any presentations or recitals recently. One of the ballet dancers I looked up to that time was Lisa Macuja (now an Elizalde). She was so graceful and loved so "light" every time she danced.

One of my regrets is that I did not start putting up my own business early on in life. I hope that you have somehow and somewhere heard of Hot Young Designers. HYD was started by my friend and I to help designers launch their own collections. Yesterday, these five talented designers launched their second collection for Fashion Face Off 2011 (which is the competition aspect). The first collection made by the designers for HYD was launched last October 2011. They were quite a hit at the Global Pinoy Bazaar, St. James Bazaar and at the Rockwell Moonlit Bazaar. We hope that this second collection will be a hit, as well!
