Twelve Cupcakes

I’m trying to cut down on fat. My friends and I challenged each other to try to trim down and achieve the lowest fat percentage that we could in one month. The one with the lowest fat percentage will win 10 thousand pesos and bragging rights. It’s been hard following the strict diet that I set for myself since i recently got this box of devilishly delicious cupcakes from Twelve Cupcakes.

Twelve Cupcakes is actually a brand from Singapore and now it’s here in the Philippines! In fact, it’s the #1 Cupcakery in Singapore.

The flavors that I got are Chocolate Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Rainbow Vanilla, PB Chocolate, Chocolate Chocolate, Mocha, PB jelly, Espresso, 3 pieces of Baileys Chocolate and chocolate banana :) Yes, I did get to try all of these flavors. Who wouldn’t take a bite? Look at how delicious these look.

My favorite is the Baileys Chocolate. It’s been a long time since I have ordered anything with alcohol, since I have been breastfeeding. I still am actually, but when I tried this cupcake, I couldn’t stop munching on it. I ate all three pieces. You could actually taste the alcohol, but it was just right. The breaded center also contained a nice surprise! It had a peach slice in the middle that was a perfect fit for the citrus-y taste of the bread.

PB Chocolate, Mocha and the Espresso Cupcakes

The other flavor that we like is the PB Chocolate. I am a fan of peanut butter, so this one was easy to love. My husband also loved this. He was quite impressed with Twelve Cupcakes. We both noticed that the bread is very dense and moist. It’s actually quite addicting.

There are 37 flavors to choose from. You can choose from the Everyday Flavors or from the Special Flavors. The next time I’m visiting, I’ll probably try these other flavors: Chocolate Salted Caramel, Almond Longan, Blueberry or the Lychee (since I’m into fruits nowadays) and the Lychee Martini (since it sounds good, too!).

A single cupcake is at php 85. A box of 3 is at php 250. A box of 6 is at Php 480 and a box of 12 is at php 900. For special flavors, you just need to add php 15 per cupcake.
