When I go to Bonifacio High Street Central, I make it a point to stop by Slice. Slice is the cafe and desserts place owned by Senator Pia Cayetano. But, my favorite is not actually any sweets from the place, but a drink from Slice. My favorite is the Moringa Miracle. It’s a drink that has Malunggay in it. I like it since it’s very refreshing. It actually tastes like lemonade, but what I like is that I get to take in Malunggay to help me increase my milk supply for my baby.

I love Slice because it is a very chill place, although my husband says that it could have been more ‘chill’ of they had a higher ceiling like their neighbors. Also, why don’t you have WIFI, Slice? :'(

In terms of food, they have nice desserts. Although, I really love munching on their bread sticks and dip.

And of course, one of the bestsellers from Slice is this rich Chocolate Cake! It’s called the Double Choco Yema cake at Php 240 per slice.

Double Choco Yema — my favorite ‘Slice’ cake!

Fans of Yema will not be disappointed! This chocolate cake has Yema in between two layers. The cake is then covered with decadent chocolate ganache.

Have you tried any other dessert from Slice? What’s your favorite?

Love lots,
