I’m not a ‘techy’ person. Also, I don’t think that after I read about these stuff, I automatically become one. People think that since I like blogging, I am good at developing websites and creating blog sites. Well, Ej creates all of our sites and I get designers to help me with the design. What I just do is create the articles and market our sites. If we were talking about marketing and branding, that, I may be able to help you with. I don’t have the slightest idea on how to program nor I don’t have the skill for designing.

Although, when you get to have your own blog, there are times that you feel that you want to learn more — about HTML, different content management systems and social media. What I do is I just read about them. 90% of the time, I encounter jargons, but there are books that explain things really well. They are simple to understand. Therefore, we have this in our home.

TADA! These are just some books that we own. I love the For Dummies Book Series, since it’s very simple to understand and it takes you through everything step by step. When I was thinking of the perfect gift for a web geek, I thought of this. I’m sure those who would like to start or create their own blog sites and websites would love to have a manual of some sort so that they could figure out how to go about doing stuff.

What I like about these books is that the topics ranges from Arts & Photography, Automotive, Business, Investing & Careers, Computers & Internet, Cooking & Entertaining, Crafts & Hobbies, Education, Electronics, Fitness, Games, Green Living, Health, Home & Garden, Music, Para Dummies, Parenting, Pets, Religion & Inspiration, Self-Help & Relationships and Sports. They are available in National Book Store, Powerbooks, Fully Booked and in other bookstores.

    If I have the monetary resource and time required to learn something, I wanna learn more about the psychology of people. I’m interested on learning how people think, behave, and feel in different places, scenarios and how our personalities and attitudes are affected by the experiences we encounter.

    I also wanna learn some Asian languages which include but not limited to Japanese, Chinese, Bahasa, Thai, and Korean. This will let me learn their culture through their language. :)

    I like random stuff but recently got interested with the “END TIMES” specifically with the zombies.We know for a fact that
    the world has its end but the question is are we going suffer first before the Apocalyptic thing would happen.
    Are we going to experience World War 4, Virus Infection, Robot domination, Alien invasion,or Zombies.
    The zombie facts nowadays are usually caught in the video games, movies, TV series and nerds but the question is, how much is probability that those thing would happen in real life?

    1. Drupal – I’m volunteering for Philippine Drupal Users Group, but it’s more of the press release, event invites and organization. I just had my first taste of Drupal Dev last Saturday and I’ve to say it wasn’t as hard to get started as what most people think.

    2. Cooking and Baking – I’ve started on a few simple dishes but I eventually want to be able to cook for the family (and future family? :P) and friends anytime! I also would like to broaden my knowledge about food to better give evaluations for my food blog.
