To celebrate the time-honored Mid-Autumn Festival, Mandarin Oriental, Manila invites all friends and guests to share their nostalgic family traditions with its very first Facebook photo competition entitled “Many Moons Ago: A MOment in our Family Tradition”. Beginning August 15 until September 7, Facebook fans and Twitter followers are enjoined to participate in the contest and get a chance to win exciting prizes, with the Grand Prize winner being awarded a two-nights’ weekend stay in a two-bedroom suite with complimentary breakfast for four.

In the spirit of harmony, friendship, and togetherness, Mandarin Oriental, Manila welcomes fans to submit an original photo of their best or favorite family tradition. This could be a ceremony, a reunion or gathering of sorts, a yearly trip, a gastronomic experience with loved ones, or anything else that families do as tradition. Fans must simply email their original photo, title, description and full name to momnl-socialmedia(at)mohg(dot)com by September 7, 2011. Only one submission per person per day is allowed and images must not be greater than 1MB. All approved photos will be posted on Mandarin Oriental, Manila’s Facebook page with the album title as “Family Traditions” and winning photographs will be selected by colleagues from Mandarin Oriental, Manila and a DTI representative.

Winners of the photo contest “Many Moons Ago: A MOment in our Family Tradition” will receive the following as prizes:

Grand Prize
• Two-nights weekend stay in a two-bedroom suite with complimentary breakfast for four.

Second Prize
• Overnight weekend stay at the Mandarin Oriental Club Junior Suite, with breakfast for two persons and a box of moon cake.

Third Prize
• Weekend Yum Cha menu for four persons at Tin Hau and a box of moon cake
