AFC’s Next Celebrity Chef

Do you want to become a famous chef? Do you think you have what it takes to be on AFC? The Asian Food Channel (AFC) and Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O) are conducting the first ever search for Asia’s next Celebrity Chef. This will be a reality television series called the “E&O Search for AFC’s Next Celebrity Chef”.

Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O) is a luxury lifestyle group with interests in property development, property investment, hospitality and lifestyle. Together with the Asian Food Channel, both organisations will leverage their resources to make contestants go through culinary challenges that will test even the most seasoned chef or passionate foodie.

Auditions will be held in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore between August 3-16. The Philippine leg is scheduled on August 9, 2011, a Tuesday. The screening in Manila will be a cook-off for 10 candidates. They will be judged by Chef Bruce Lim and Mr. Michael Saxon, Director of Group Hospitality & Lifestyle of the E&O Group.
