“Jam Magnifique!” And I’m saying it with a French accent. Oh, I wish you could hear me. I feel like a French woman. The past couple of weeks, I’ve been drawn to having toast and jam for breakfast. What was the culprit of these cravings? It was the Pineapple Coco Rhum that we bought from the Yummy Eats Event at the NBC tent. We bought it from The Fruit Garden booth.
The booth was manned by the owners themselves: Pierre Marmonier and his wife, Andrea. They started developing home-made jams 18 months ago here in Manila. They have developed 5 jam collections revolving around these fruit variants: Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry, Orange, and a seasonal collection. All the jams are cooked in a copper cauldron in small batches and are 100% natural.
We tried the different opened bottles of jam during the event and they were all good. My palette’s attention though was captured by the Pineapple Coco Rhum. I bought the larger bottle which only lasted 4 days since my husband and I have been having toast and this jam for breakfast for the past week.
