Going through the dessert menu, our eyes automatically gravitated to the PB&J Tart (P295) and it’s description which simply said “we will never reveal the caloric content.” It had me at caloric content.
It was sweet and very rich, but managed to stay a step away from being “nakakaumay.” I ignored all the warning signs in my head telling me this will give me a migraine in the morning — it was that good.
We also ordered the Lemon Glazed Yogurt Cheesecake (P245). Opposite to the PB&J Tart, this one was quite light and refreshing. It had a good lemony tang which gave the cheesecake a nice zesty flavor. If you’re not one for strong sweet desserts, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Finally, we finished eating, smiling as we really enjoyed the meal. Kristine, one of the owners who we met last MBKRS, greeted us and asked how our meal was. I like it when the owners pay personal attention to their business — keeps the quality high and shows that they care for their customers.
We waited around 3 years before visiting Lu. We’ll never wait that long before we visit again.
