I’ve noticed that we haven’t been doing a lot of reviews of places in the Tomas Morato area. We are usually in the area every Sunday, since we have our weekly massage at the Blue Water Day Spa, and one of the places that we love to go to is Carlo’s Pizza. They offer delicious and affordable Italian dishes.

We usually order the Quatro Formaggi, 9” Regular sized pizza (Php 280). It’s normally just me and my husband so this size is just right for us. They used these cheeses to make the pizza: Bleu Cheese, Parmesan, Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese. What I liked about the pizza is that it tasted like the pizza that we tried in Italy. The crust was perfect. It was of the exact thickness and tenderness. It was baked to be a little crunchy, and it was not too bread-y.

We also ordered the Lasagna ala Carlo (Php 295). We got the bigger size, the one for sharing. It was composed of layers of lasagna pasta with meat sauce. It has béchamel sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. It was very good and was a melt-in-your-mouth pasta. It came with a slice of garlic bread that was also delicious.


We want to come back and try out the other dishes. Have you tried eating here? Do you have any more suggestions on which dishes to try?
