RISQ Interview with Brigid Lee

Brigid Lee, a former graphic designer, is now one of the finalists for the RISQ Grand Summer Fashion Show.

Brigid loves both graphic designing and fashion designing. She is currently also involved graphic design projects. Her passion for fashion designing though started way back in college. In a class for fashion and costume designing, she fell in love with this form of art and is currently pursuing this, as well.

She is still studying advanced courses at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines, Makati, like sewing and designing for men’s wear. For Bridgid, creating clothes for men is more challenging than making clothes for women. This is because men’s wear has to have definite cuts and styles that will make them look masculine. Women, on the other hand can get away with anything.

For the RISQ Fashion event, expect happy tones of yellow and peach for Brigid’s line. Also, Brigid tells us to expect very linear and edgy designs. The fashion icons that she looks up to are Alexander McQueen and Vivian Westwood.
