When I was little, we, as a family, would normally go out for Valentine’s day. I just remembered that it’s almost Valentines Day. I wonder if a lot of families are just like us. So for those families who are looking for restaurants for Valentines Day, Buenisimo is one of the restaurants that you can add to your list.
Buenisimo is a Spanish restaurant in the new Eastwood mall. It has been there for quite sometime now. It is perfect for a Valentine’s date with the family or for any celebration, since it has a classy ambiance that would be perfect for special occasions. Also, if you want to watch a movie or go shopping after lunch or dinner, you can just step out and do those other activities.
Buenisimo Restaurant
When we visited this Spanish restaurant, it was just me and my husband. We wanted to try out a restaurant where we can have a meal that was out of the ordinary and more special. Buenisimo has that ambiance that calls out to you if you are looking for such type of dinner.
Buenisimo Bread and Dip
When we sat on our tables, we were immediately given the menu so we could order. Right after ordering, they gave us bread and a dip that was balsamic vinegar mixed with olive oil. They also added Lavoch herbs and spices. Try it out and give that unique taste a try.
Buenisimo Truffle Pizza
For our appetizer, we had Truffle Pizza (Php 468). Yes, I know what you’re thinking… But, to justify our order, we were really hungry. The look and the smell of the pizza made us even more excited to bite into it. The Truffle Pizza was made out of white sauce, organic mozzarella, truffle bits and White Truffle oil. you could really smell the truffles in the pizza. What I liked about this dish was that it was simple and yet the flavor was unique.
Buenisimo Callos
We then ordered Callos (Php 308), that was made out of ox tripe, tomatoes, chorizo, Roasted Red peppers and brandy de Jerez. The dish was for sharing. You could really see that it was made out of fresh tomatoes. It was good, but for us, it was as ‘expected’.
Buenisimo Paella Sulipena
What we recommend is that you order the Paella Sulipena (Php 648) It had Saffron, Mixed Seafood, Rice, Chorizo, Chicken and Vegetables. It was delicious and it brought back memories on my lola’s cooking.
Buenisimo Creme Brulee Sampler
For our dessert, we had the Creme Brulee Sampler (Php 208). It was made out of a Dulce De Leche, Mango and Vanilla creme brulee. I liked the Vanilla and Mango flavored ones. The Dulce De Leche was too sweet for me.
Overall, it’s a good place to consider for celebrating special occasions. If You’re looking for good a Spanish restaurant in the Pasig area, try Buenisimo.
