Life Coffee & Tea (SM Hypermart and SM North The Block)

One of the coffee places that we frequent is Life Coffee and Tea. Their coffee place is not as ubiquitous as Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, but they really have good coffee and tea.

What I frequently order here is the Iced Red Tea Au Lait (Small at Php 90, Medium at Php 100 and Large at Php 110). They are priced actually cheaper than the other coffee places. I have never encountered any coffee place with an iced Red team Au Lait drink ever before. You have to wait for a few minutes though to get this drink since it takes time to brew the tea. I love that the tea that they use is always freshly brewed and the mixture of milk and tea is just right.

Their specialty are their Life Cold Tea variants. My husband ordered the Iced Mango. It was was refreshing and not too sweet. You can still taste the tea. They have other variants like iced Passion, Lychee, Strawberry, Peach, Grapefruit and Mint. They also have Yogurt Tea and Fruit Smoothies.

For coffee addicts, we recommend the Iced White Mocha, which my sister loves. For those who need their latte with non-fat milk and sweeteners, they use stevia and they do have non fat milk.

We normally come here for afternoon snack or just to while the time, so we do not order the meals. What we recommend though for snacks are their pizza! We love the Chicken Al Pesto. It is a cream based pizza with pesto, grilled chicken, capers, red and green pepper. Their thin crust pizzas are well baked and crispy! They also do not scrimp on the toppings which makes it worth every peso!

We also love their LCT Nachos (Php 165) and the Mozzarella Sticks (php 150).

The Nachos are made of thinly fried bread sticks shaped like a triangle. They drizzle it with cheese, beef, pesto and salsa sauce. It’s actually addicting!
