I should have released this review months ago. Charlie’s Grind and Grill has now become popular amongst the young and the old. To date, the burgers at Charlie’s have been one of the most sought out burgers in town.
It was a sunny afternoon when we had our first encounter with Charlie’s Grind and Grill. It was two o’ clock and we haven’t had lunch yet. We were in the Barrio Kapitolyo, Pasig area and we chanced upon this hole-in-the-wall burger place. Before entering an air conditioned room, a counter with a huge menu board will be seen.
You can choose from the wide array of burgers and dishes that they serve. My husband ordered the Black Angus Burger (Php 195). After taking a big bite, he was impressed. The beef was so tender and there was no hint that it was over cooked or burnt. You would get to taste the freshness of the meat.
The Angus Beef was served with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Fries came along as a side dish. As for the condiments and sauces, you can choose from the various condiments from the refrigerator located near the counter.
I ordered the Shrooms Vegetarian Burger with Fries (Php 340). It was delicious. The patty was made out of real mushrooms enveloped in a crispy covering. I love the sauce that they have called “Horsey” with this burger. This burger is perfect for vegetarians; all veggies and no meat at all.
If you haven’t tried this honest to goodness delicious burger, you have got to head out to Charlie’s Grind and Grill.

I think Chef Rob has plans to expand soon! Let's see kung Makati!
FYI – he also owns Cyma so he MIGHT also expand Charlie's the same way he did Cyma. :)
