HTC has launched 2 new phones, the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z. Both phones were launched with the special participation of the lovely Rhian Ramos, who owns an HTC Desire herself.

The best features of the HTC Desire HD is its 4.3″ screen and SRS Surround Audio. You could watch movies clearly on the HUGE display of the Desire HD. This screen makes it a touch bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S (which already has a larger screen than the iPhone 4).

Another main feature is its Qualcomm QSD 8255 1 GHz processor which makes it as fast and powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S.

It also comes pre-quipped with Android 2.2 Froyo. Which means you have built-in ability to turn off 2G/3G/GPRS (no more sudden LARGE bills), the fastest mobile web browsing, OTA app installation, tethering (your android can act as your own personal on the go router!) and cloud syncing capabilities.

The HTC Desire HD’s UI is the award winning HTC Sense which maximizes the abilities of Froyo. You can make your phone ring loudly through the HTC Website – perfect for people like me who forget everything. HTC Sense also comes pre-equipped with Locations — a mapping application that updates REAL TIME without having to download from any server. If you use MapDroyd, it’s similar but with more functionality.

The HTC Desire HD retails at PHP 35,000.00.

The HTC Desire Z has a 3.7″ touch screen and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. For people who need to do a lot of typing/editing on the phone, this is perfect because you don’t sacrifice screen real estate to be able to type accurately & quickly. It also has a trackpad to enable some accurate cursor placement. For folks who easily get frustrated with the intricacies of touch screen navigation, this phone is a God Send.

Of course, it also comes pre-packed with Android 2.2 Froyo and the HTC Sense UI which gives it all the goodies and user-focused features that the HTC Desire HD has.

The HTC Desire 7 retails at PHP 32,000.00.
