Hey hey hey! Here’s something to be happy about. I just had my first dive thru experience in the first ever Starbucks that offers drive thru. This Starbucks is located at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It’s right beside MC home Depot.

The option for Drive Thru is perfect for people on the go. We had a few minutes to spare after we visited Mercato Centrale. We had to rush to have Ej’s haircut and my hair dyed. I was craving for Iced Green Tea with non-fat milk, and having a Starbucks with drive thru was just the thing that I needed at that moment.

The girl in the mic was courteous, as other baristas in any other Starbucks were. She got our order and we quickly drove to the window. After less than five minutes, they were already handing out our order.

The thing though is that they didn’t get EJ’s drink quite right. They forgot to put Splenda into his Starbucks Iced Latte with non-fat milk and two Splenda packets. The thing with drive thru services is that you don’t get to see what’s wrong with your highly customized drink until you have already taken a sip. The problem is that you might have already driven out of the location of the store.
