Krispy Kreme Baked Creations: Pull Aparts and Kruffins

“Yum yum” is what you might say when seeing the new Krispy Kreme Baked Creations, the Pull Aparts and the Kruffins.

I saw these creations while ordering at Krispy Kreme’s drive-thru shop in Greenhills. I was getting 5 boxes of half a dozen Original Glazed Donuts for an office event, when a poster of these bake creations caught my eye. I vowed to myself that I would try these Pull Aparts and the Kruffins. Then voila!, one day, we went home and my sister-in-law (manilamommy.com), had already bought one box.

Krispy Kreme Baked Creations

We had three Krispy Kreme Baked Creations – Kruffins to choose from: Double Chocolate, Apple Streussel and Blueberry. We didn’t get to order the Classic Kruffin.  I liked the Apple Streussel the best. I loved the soft, chiffon-like inside which was coated with cinnamon sugar. The outer covering was a a bit crispy and I loved the difference in texture. The cinnamon sugar coating was not too sweet, which was good. I loved the apple slices with the syrup sauce in the hole of the Kruffins. I’m not a fan of whip cream or icing so even without the icing on top, it worked well for me. The Blueberry was also delicious.

I’m not exactly a fan of chocolate pastries, but of course I tried this. It was pretty good. It tasted like chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate icing or cream inside. There were bits of chocolate on top of the Kruffin, which I liked. Again, there was chocolate icing popping out from the hole.

Apple Streussel and Blueberry

We had three Krispy Kreme Baked Creations – Pull Aparts to choose from: Sausage and Cheese, Bacon and Cheese and Cheese. We didn’t get to order the Cinnamon Pull Apart. I’m a cheese lover, so anything with cheese, I always try.  The Cheese Pull Apart was the first thing I tried. The bread was so soft and very tasty . I loved the way the cheese melted on top of the bread. If you want a plain and simple cheese bread, this is what you should order.  The Sausage and Bacon variations are actually these ingredients added to the Cheese variant. These two are perfect for snacks or meetings at the office. There were dips (mayo, etc.) included but even without these additional dips, we were good!

Sausage & Cheese and Double Chocolate

These Baked Creations from Krispy Kreme costs around Php 75 per variant. If you haven’t tried it, there are selected stores which carry these Krispy Kreme Baked creations and so go out and grab one! Each variant is a fun snack alternative to discover and to try!
