After an errand made, we drove by Tomas Morato and since my husband was craving for a burger, we stopped by Hotshots to order hamburgers. I wanted to find out if it was of the same quality as how I remembered it.
There are a lot of burger stores being opening nowadays. I remember back in college, the one of the most popular stores in front of our school was HotShots Flame Grilled Burgers. Hotshots has come a long way from that time.
My husband ordered the Mozarella Burger (Php 195). It had double flame grilled patties that squished the mozarella cheese. It was topped with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and onions. The patties were a bit burnt but it was still delicious.

Another burger that we ordered was the Crispy Burger Melt (Php 175). It had a quarter pound flamed grilled burger patty topped with mayo, mushrooms, bacon bits and cheese sauce. This is one of our favorites. It was also the most appetizing to look at.

For those who don’t eat beef, they have chicken and fish sandwiches as alternatives. What I always order is the Grilled Chix & Cheese Sandwich (Php 160). The way they grilled the chicken was perfect. The sandwich came with onions, mayo, lettuce and the garlic cheese sauce. I normally ask them to take the mayo away. The garlic cheese sauce was enough and it was also a good complement to the chicken.

Of course in the menu were other choices – side dishes, add ons, pasta, tacos, salads, shakes, desserts and drinks. One of our favorites is the twister fries that they serve. You will be addicted to the taste and flavor of these potato curls!

For service though, I think they need to improve more in this area. We waited for 30 minutes just to get our orders. I don’t know if this is standard for flame grilled burgers, but this is quite long for me. And we were the only ones there. Plus, I don’t think they were preparing for any bulk orders.
Other than that though, the burgers are still amazing. It was just how I remembered it … it’s actually even better!
