Outstanding Animators to be recognized at 6th Animahenasyon

My husband and I are intrigued at how Filipinos are now making a name in animation and comic industry. It's good to see that there are events and activities that showcase Filipino talent like the Philippine animation festival Animahenasyon, which is now on its 6th year. It showcases the country’s best works of animation. With a slew of entries from both local and foreign animators, the festival serves as the platform for both amateur and professional Filipino animators to share their work with the world. We are proud to be media partners of this event.

Me & My Pet Cosplay

Me & My Pet Cosplay

Every time I see Cosplayers, I am amazed and impressed at how they create props, at how tedious they do their makeup, at how they really spend for their costumes. I look up to them for all the effort and the hardwork. We, at Manila Reviews, believe in honing each one's talent. We know that helping build creativity is important. With this we always appreciate invitations to be media sponsors for events related to featuring the Filipino talent and would be glad to feature local artists. This is a really cute event that we wanted to participate in promoting. It's called Me and My Pet Cosplay.

It's been a while since I have last visited Enchanted Kingdom. Thinking of that place brings back happy memories. It's nice to know that it will be the venue for one of this year's big festivals. Enchanted Kingdom, Art City Productions and Tempest Films present the first ever ENCHANTED CULTURE FEST 2012.
ToyCon 0011

Father’s Day at ToyCon 2012

What is the best way to celebrate Father’s Day? Answer: Spend it with your family. And the best place to spend it is at the 11th Philippine ToyCon 2012 held at Megatrade Halls 1-2-3, 5th level Bldg. B of SM Megamall. For a minimal fee of 100 pesos, you get an entrance ticket to see a huge collection of toys for all ages. You will enjoy viewing different types of toys from different eras and generations, from the newly issued toys back to the vintage and hard to find collectibles. Aside from the toys, there were also a lot of costume players gathered in one event aside from the annual Halloween party.

Productive Pinoy: Book on Time Management, Money and Living a Meaningful Life

When I was young, I loved reading. I loved reading fiction. I loved reading all those Sweet Valley High pocket books and I completed the Nancy Drew series. Now, I prefer finance, productivity, management and marketing books. There is something about these books that make you feel richer, more productive and empowered during and after reading them. Recently, I just finished reading a book entitled Productive Pinoy – Time Management, Money and Living a Meaningful Life. The author is a Pinoy named Yeng Remulla.
