Are you addicted to Marty’s and all those veggie chicharon chips? One day, EJ came home raving about this brand of snacks called Chicharon ni Mang Juan. For weeks, we were looking for it in groceries. Finally, we got to buy this in Shopwise.

Chicharon ni Mang Juan

We bought both flavors. The two flavors were Sukang Paombong and Espesyal Suka’t sili. By the way, Sukang Paombong is Palm Vinegar. It’s pH is between 5 and 6.

I like the Espeyel Suka’t Sili, because I like snacks that are spicy. How does it differ from Marty’s? The chips are thinner. In terms of taste, they are almost alike. I think I have to try both again side by side in order to really determine the difference.
