For those who see Figaro only as a place for coffee, you should take the time out to try their meals. Recently, they came out with Figaro Spoonful Meals. These meals are better lunch alternatives to your usual canteen food.
There are two dishes under Figaro Spoonful meals. They have the Chicken Thyme and the Chicken a la King. Both are priced at Php 215.
The Chicken Thyme was served with creamy cheese sauce. This was the first dish that I tried. The mere mention of cheese made me drawn to this dish. The chicken fillet was deep fried to perfection and was complimented by the cheese sauce. It was served with buttered veggies and plain rice.
The other dish was Chicken a la King. Surprisingly, I liked this better than the Chicken Thyme. The diced chicken was very tender and the sauce was of just the right creaminess. The dish was also served with plain rice and buttered carrots and corn.
Both dishes come with a choice between brewed coffee or iced tea.
