One of the interesting things about Cookbook Kitchen is their name. This new restaurant in Eastwood City caught our attention. Cookbook Kitchen’s first store was in Mandaluyong. It was already a hit among foodies for quite sometime now. Mid this year, Cookbook Kitchen established its new restaurant in Eastwood City.
From the outside, Cookbook Kitchen had a transparent glass frontage. It was a perfect set up for passers-by to see the bright orange inner motif of the store. upon entering this new restaurant, we were greeted by courteous servers and were led to our table.
It was just me and Ej so we ordered one appetizer and two main dishes. For the appetizer, we ordered the CBK Italian toast (Php 120). The Italian inspired appetizer came in a dish with four rectangular toasted Ciabatta bread slices. It was topped with fresh tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese. This appetizer reminded us of margarita pizza. It had subtle and interesting flavors that you will enjoy!
Ej ordered the CBK Chicken (Php 350). The whole pieces of chicken breast was lightly grilled. It was filled with cheese, ham and basil stuffing. It came with Italian pesto and roasted tomatoes. I liked the concept of the dish. It was like finding a surprise inside the chicken. This chicken dish was very filling. Ej could not even finish the dish. This Cookbook Kitchen chicken dish is good for at least 2-3 people.

I ordered the Parmesan Crusted White Fish (Php 290). It looked very delicious as it came in an oval white container. It looked liked lasagna; the only thing that you could see is the cheese on top. We both liked the dish. The fish was creamy and the cheese sauce was to die for. The cheese sauce was very rich!
The service, based on our experience, was fast. Our orders came right away. We realized that we didn’t have to order appetizers. I hope that they do maintain this level of service in Cookbook Kitchen. Since we came in at around 11:00 am (just before lunch), there were just a few people in the restaurant.
As far as we know, Cookbook Kitchen is one of the good restaurants in Eastwood City that you have to try!

Hey Ann! Welcome back! There are cheaper restos but, of course, they're not in the "prime" locations. Pero they're worth the search. ;-)
