The Philippine Kayaking Series 2010 which is in collaboration with other South East Asian kayaking groups aims to foster sportsmanship and cooperation with its first 2 day event, Kayak Explore Anvaya Subic, which will be on Saturday-Sunday, May 29-30, 2010 in the waters of Subic Bay. The venue will be Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club, a development of Ayala Land and Subic Bay under SBMA, both great venues for the upcoming sport!
Philippine Kayaking Series 2010 presents KAYAK EXPLORE ANVAYA COVE- SUBIC BAY
On the national front, bringing kayakers to a common fold, learning new skills, helping save the planet and crossing borders are this year’s targets.

Save the Pawikan Presentation

Schedule of Activities:
1st Day
7:00am – Advanced Class: 2-Leg 25 km kayak marathon Anvaya Cove – SubicBay
1st Leg start and finish: Anvaya Cove-Subic Bay Waterfront Area
11:00am – Kayaking Clinic
11:30am – Novice Race : 5-km Subic Bay waterfront area
2:30pm – 2nd Leg start and finish: SBMA Waterfront Area- Anvaya Cove
6:00pm – Barrio Fiesta
7:00pm Awarding Ceremonies
2nd Day
8:00am – Save the Pawikan Presentation
9:00am – Ecotouring: Fun Run from Anvaya Cove to SBMA Mangrove Beach
- Mangrove Cleanup

Pre-Registration STRICTLY required.
This event is co-organized by Kayakasia who will bring in participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. An invitational club-level meet in Singapore on October 2-3 will follow before an envisioned Regional Kayaking Circuit next year. There will also be an annual Boat Show Asia in Singapore this coming April 16-18.

Re questions on bringing own boat, a discount of P500/boat. No discount for accommodations outside of NIPA Eco Workshop.
Inclusions of P2000/ person reg fee: entry fee, kayak, meals (1 breakfast, 2 lunch, 1 dinner), sharing accommodations at NIPA Eco Workshop is approx 50mtrs from Morong gate inside SBFZ., event T-shirt, all activities

questions;1) what type of kayak use in the race (sit-in or sit-on)? it matters a LOT with regards to speed.2) can i bring my own sea kayak? how much is the registration? still P2000?
