Can I just say “OMG!”? This restaurant is the bomb! Orale is this quaint little restaurant in the Fort Strip. I have passed this restaurant more than a dozen times already, but I never really go to try it. It was just last week that I felt the urge to eat tacos. I wanted to go to Pancake House, but for some reason, my husband and I wanted to try Órale! Taqueria Mexicana.

We entered the place and the ambiance was inviting. There was a huge mural of famous Mexican characters. The unfinished seats went well with the ‘rugged’ ambiance. The place was purposely decorated ‘unfinished’ but it was really clean and inviting. By the way, before I go on, please excuse the pictures as we were unprepared for this amazing experience.

The Rustic Menu Board

Check out the mural at the back! So cool!

I told you that I initially wanted tacos, but then I changed my mind upon seeing that they had Double Cheese Quesadillas. I was intrigued and I wanted to find out what the dish was. The Double Cheese quesadillas was at Php 245.

Double Cheese Quesadillas

A platter that looked like crepe was served to me. After slicing it, melted cheese squirted out of the wrapper. The order taker asked me if I wanted the dish mild or spicy. I chose mild, but I ended up eating all the jalapenos in EJ’s dish. If you love cheese, you will love this dish!

Barbacoa Tacos

EJ, on the other hand, ordered the Barbacoa Taco Tres at Php 325. The barbacoa meat was perfectly cooked and very tender. It was easy to chew and it was filling! When we came back the week after, I ordered the Barbacoa Quesadillas, since it was that good!

Don’t let this place fool you! It may look simple, but the food is really good! :)

Have you eaten here? What’s your favorite dish? I may order that the next time I visit!

P.S. Orale is located at The Fort Strip, 7th Avenue corner 28th Street, Bonifacio Global City, 1630 Taguig.  You can call them at 5522660 to make reservations!
