As early as now, I’m gearing up and preparing myself for breastfeeding. I have heard a lot of horror stories about breastfeeding, but I have also heard encouraging words. I really want to breastfeed my child when the time comes. I have heard of the many benefits of breastfeeding. And I have seen a lot of moms in the malls who are actually doing it. It probably won’t be that bad.

I have seen moms with nursing covers and I am intrigued at the different kinds and designs that I get to see. With this, I did my own research and I’ve seen some moms online who are selling nursing covers. These online stores and brands are: Nursingmom, Mom Baby Fabric and Mayumi & Me.

NURSINGMOM
The designs of Nursingmom’s nursing covers really stick with you. They have nursing covers with boned open necklines. Why this type of design? So that you can still check on your baby and have eye contact even while breastfeeding. I am a fan of this Divine Damask design at Php 995 each. This is my favorite of all the designs that they have.

Divine Damask

I think a lot of moms think this is a good design, too. It’s easy to pair with any attire that you are wearing. I also love these Wildflowers Navy and the Lotus Brown designs. I’m not much into polka dots, but they also do have some designs with these kinds of prints.

They have other products in their shop. If you want to check them out, you can visit: nursingmom.multiply.com. They also have a facebook fanpage that you can like: click here for the link.

MOM BABY FABRIC
Another mommy brand in multiply that I went to was Mom Baby Fabric. They, too, have nursing covers with boned open necklines. They are selling their nursing covers for Php 900 each. Here are some of my favorites from their Holidaze 2012 Collection.

Dandy Damask

Treasure Box Ocean

And my favorite from Mom Baby Fabric — the Damask Bark!

MAYUMI & ME
This store has quite a uniquely designed nursing cover. The design is by Tiny Tots. It covers the breasts leaving room for the baby to be uncovered and to have more breathing space. This nursing cover comes in two sizes: small (40 inches all around) and medium (44 inches all around).

Here are the designs that I like:

Blue Pink Split Cover Wrap

Patches cover Wrap

And again, my favorite of them all…

Black White Squares Cover Wrap

To visit their site, go to www.mayumiandme.com. The facebook fanpage of Mayumi & Me is https://www.facebook.com/MayumiandMe.

I hope I helped lead you, expecting and new moms out there, to interesting and uniquely designed nursing covers. Which of these do you want to buy?

XOXO,

P.S. Pictures are from these brands’ online sites :)

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Ginger! I have been trying to figure out how to comment on the facebook post, and then realized I could comment directly on this entry! I’m glad you like the prints. It’s a joy to pick them out, and fabric shopping is one of the best parts of the job! :-)
