Home Shopping and Grams Diner
We plan to make this our last major shopping day for our condo unit. The things on our list are the following: cabinet handles, washer/dryer, wallpaper, curtains, led strip lights, refrigerator, couch pillows, bed foam, mattress, and a couple of decorative pieces. We promised you a photo shoot of our place, so we need it to look good.
Our agenda for today involves a trip to MC Home Depot with our two adorable interior decorators, Kaye and Maybs.
I never thought that i’d enjoy home shopping thus much. It’s actually like being in a SIMs game, but here, you actually spend real money and get to buy REAL furniture for your REAL home. See the similarities? Haha!
Anyway, this week was pretty hectic for me. Aside from the existing projects that i have for the bank, i was given additional assignments. And on top of that, i’m fixing the logistics of three upcoming workshops (which I hope you will like). A big shout out to bloggers for one of our upcoming events! :)
This home shopping, therefore, is becoming a therapeutic activity for me. I love going through all the wallpaper designs that we can use. I love being hypnotized by light options and the silvery door and cabinet handles. There are a lot of things that i also get to learn from shopping with our designers.
Although it was a terribly hot day, we still got to enjoy lunch at Grams diner. The service was a bit slow, but the food was good. I ordered the Angry Bites. I am still watching what i’m eating. I just ended my second round of south beach diet yesterday, and I know that if I ate carbs right away, I would feel dizzy and bloated.
Angry bites (php 280) was just Spicy Hungarian sausage on a bed of shoestring onions. I actually just ate the sausage. It was okay… Nothing to be excited about. The shoestring onions was a bit salty so there’s no need to add salt. It was addicting!
Ej ordered the Fish, Chips & Question Marks (php 365). It was battered fish fritters served with steak fries and homemade tartar sauce. The fish was a better choice. The fish was cooked to a perfect golden brown shade. It wasn’t drenched in oil and it was coated with a crunch-ily cooked batter.
Gram’s diner is located opposite MC Home Depot at Bonifacio Global City.
