This was one of the best vacations that we had as a couple. We bought a coupon from The coupon was for an overnight stay at the Palmera Suites in The Farm at San Benito. We left Manila at around 8:30 am. From Quezon City, it took us 3 hours to get to the Farm on a Saturday morning.

The road is San Benito, going to The Farm was narrow, yet very well maintained. As we got closer and closer to The Farm, we felt like we were nearing a whole new world.

When we got to the Farm, we were welcomed by the accommodating staff. They gave us buko juice as welcome drinks to enjoy. We were then led to our room. It was the Palmera Suites. I loved the Palmera Suites since it was located in the middle of the restaurant and near the ampitheater (where the yoga classes were held).

The room was very cozy. It was in the middle of a garden. The theme of the room was very zen. The sheets were white and most of the furnitures were made out of wood.

There was a covered outdoor sala where you could sit and enjoy nature with your loved one. You can order food from the Alive! Cuisine restaurant and have it delivered as room service.

The bathroom was very clean. I loved the shower! It didn’t have a roof in the morning, so when you’re taking a shower, you can actually see the beautiful blue sky.

In the bathroom, The Farm gives you complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and oil that is made out of coconut. EJ and I loved how these products smelled. It also made my hair softer and more manageable.

We wanted to see the place so Ej and I toured the place. It was easy to go around The Farm at San Benito since they had signs all over the place. I love that people can go around wearing casual attire.

You would see a lot of different animals as you walk around. There are around 6 peacocks roaming the place.

Check out the ducks hanging out near the lagoon in the reception area.

The environment is so serene. There are about 5 meditation areas that you can run off to.

We then proceeded to the restaurant located near the reception. The restaurant was called Alive! It’s a vegan restaurant. It uses fresh products and The Farm even received the 2009 & 2006 Bacarrat ASIASPA Award for SPA Cuisine of the Year and the 2007 Spa Asia Reader’s Choice award for Best Cuisine for its healthy and flavorful culinary creations.

If you’re wondering what dishes they serve, here is a copy of the menu that we had that day. They serve fresh salads, delicious pasta and other healthy dishes. I enjoyed it since I’m really used to eating salads, but for meat eaters, you might have a hard time adjusting to the food of the place.

You can order ala carte dishes or you can choose between the 3, 4 or 5 course meals.

You can also check the drinks menu. Some of the drinks here are quite familiar since these are the juices that I took during my Juju Cleanse 3 day experience. I recommend that you order the True Cleanser. That drink is our favorite.

There are so many activities that you can do in the farm. Every evening, you will be given a one page newsletter of the schedules of the activities that you can do for the next day. On Saturday afternoon, EJ had an acupuncture session while I tried the Hara Puri massage. The Hara Puri Massage was a thirty minute massage or my tummy. It was to help circulation and aid in digestion. That evening, after dinner, we had our relaxation massage. The couple’s room was surrounded by water. The ambiance was very relaxing. I could hear the sounds from nature outside.

The next day, we took the 7:30 am meditation and yoga class. We then had breakfast and took a dip in the swimming pool after. We then packed our stuff as we were about to check out. Check out is at 12 pm. Late check out can be requested.

We really had a great time. I know that the stay and the treatments and food were expensive, but it was a trip that everyone should experience. Everything was worth it! We plan to go back to The Farm at San Benito.

Hi Kristel! Sorry for the delayed reply. Had to search in my emails. :)

We got it from Dealgrocer for P8,995 (P14,640 Regular Price). Food’s a bit pricey when you’re there though — but really really good. Makes you want to go vegetarian. :)
