This was the first time I tried a body cleansing program. I take a shower every day and I think this is as far as I’ve gone with regard to cleansing. One day, I was reading through the pages of Preview Magazine April 2011 and I came across this short advertorial about Juju Cleanse.
I was intrigued and was curious to try it. I immediately visited their website and read every page. I realized that Juju Cleanse was an all liquid diet. According to the website, drinking helps the body absorb more enzymes, vitamins and minerals. When we eat, energy is used in digestion and not in cleansing the body. Also, we are forced to drink more than usual. Juju Cleanse promotes alkaline restoration for proper immune and metabolic function. The juice also has a laxative effect which will help our bodies get rid of toxins. Being well hydrated and getting rid of all impurities will help you increase metabolism. With this, you may be able to lose a few pounds during the cleanse.
I ordered by emailing and texting Kat Renze-Azanza. I got a response right away and I ordered the Level 1 Three Day Cleanse for me and EJ, my husband , got the Level 1 One Day Cleanse. We both started on a Saturday.
Okay, before we go into the specifics of what we went through, let me tell you why we tried Juju Cleanse. I was already feeling tired almost everyday. I noticed that my skin was losing its glow. I always get allergies and lately, I have been encountering headaches frequently. EJ was also feeling stressed out with work. He kept on getting migraines and really bad ones. We both thought that we needed to relax a bit and probably do something to help pick up our mood and make us stronger.
That’s when I saw the advertorial. So when I got the confirmation from Kat of Juju Cleanse, I immediately told her that I wanted to pick it up on a Friday evening from their pick up point in Valle Verde. There are three pick up points: Valle Verde, New Manila (where we picked up the 2nd and 3rd day bottles), and Makati. When i picked it up, the 6 bottles came inside a really nice thermal / insulated bag with packed ice. I loved that they took time out to think about the packaging!

On that Friday (the day before my cleansing day), I lessened my intake of meat, coffee and refined sugar and carbs. I don’t smoke and I haven’t been drinking, too, so that was not a problem. Then, Saturday came.
The first thing that we did when we got up was to drink hot tea. Juju Cleanse gave us some fresh sprigs of mint to mix with our tea.
After that, we drank our first bottle, which was the green juice at 8:30am. Every 2.5 hours, you are recommended to drink the next bottle. The green bomb was okay. EJ expected the drink to taste worse than it did. This green bomb is loaded with vitamins, nutrients ad enzymes that our bodies need to function well.
After two hours (11am), we drank the Spicy Limonada. This was our favorite drink. It was lemonade with cayenne pepper. It swings your body into a more alkaline state and the cayenne pepper boosts your metabolism. At this time, we were still both okay. We were actually looking forward to the next drink. We were noticing though that we were going to the bathroom more than usual.
The third drink was Red Giant, which we took at 1:30 pm. By this time, we hated what we were going through. We really wanted to quit, but then, at the back of our minds, we would lose achieving the benefits if we quit right away. And so, we continued following the instructions.
At around 3:30pm, we were already feeling different. My head was starting to ache and we were already feeling really hungry.
The fourth drink was the Alkazest which we took in at 4:00pm. It is a mixture of grapefruit, pineapple, and coconut juice. EJ didn’t enjoy the taste of this one — he kept saying it felt like drinking cooking oil.
The fifth drink (6:30pm) was the Green Bomb again. This drink was actually bearable, so we just enjoyed gulping it down.
The last drink was the Salaba’t Lemon, which we took at 9:00pm. I liked this drink since it tasted like the Limonada but with a bit less spice. It also had ginger in it.
We then slept right away so that we wouldn’t feel hunger.
The next morning, Kat texted me and asked me how the cleanse was. I told her that I had a terrible headache the day before. she advised me to take more water in between. That’s what I did for Sunday and Monday, and guess what, I didn’t have any headaches. I also didn’t get hungry as often. By Monday morning, I was feeling that my stomach was flatter than usual and I felt like I was cleansed of all the toxins. I didn’t get to go to work though since I kept on going to the bathroom. It was so hot though, that I kept on drinking water.
The experience brought a good change in me though. I don’t feel hungry now and I eat smaller meals. I don’t have this desire for sweets and junk food anymore. I feel that I have really been cleansed. Yey!
For those who want to try this out, you can check out the prices on this page: Juju Cleanse Price
I suggest you start with Level 1 first so that you can complete the detoxification process. I had a hard time following it, but I would definitely recommend this and would do this cleansing again.
Let me know about you experience with Juju Cleanse. I’d love to hear about it!

This is really interesting. I’ve heard a lot about these cleansing juices and how one ends up losing so much weight cause of them. Glad I came across your blog cause I just bought swimwear the other day from ZALORA Ph and I need something like this to feel good in them. You should check the site out! ;)

Nu skin and pharmanex supplements are more effective than juju cleanse
The company consistently meets and exceeds the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards set by the FDA
***just wondering if fda approved ang juju cleanse
