Since it’s the last stretch before Holy Week, most of you are probably looking for restaurants where you can still enjoy the food but still stick to your promise of abstinence. To help you adhere to your religious duties (yesss… ang bait namin), we recently visited Fish and Co. again. I think the last time that we got to eat here was before our wedding — that was almost two years ago!

We would normally eat at Fish and Co. at EDSA Shangri-la Mall and we would eat there with my parents. Today, however, we ate at the one in Trinoma, Quezon city. Since it’s a Bistro Group establishment, the food preparation and the service are generally the same so the branch shouldn’t matter. For instance, the feel of the place is always cozy; it has a lot of wood accents, giving you a feeling that you’re in a ship’s hull. Anyway, on to the food!

I wanted salad so we ordered the Soft Shell Crab Salad (Php 415). It was made out of soft shell crab tossed with different types of green vegetables and tomatoes. It’s served with a very appetizing and mouth watering balsamic sauce. I would definitely order this again!

We then ordered our favorite, the New York Fish and Chips (Php 465). We love the parmesan cheese stuffed inside the fish. It gave the dish more personality, since it is not the usual fish fillet that you would get when you order from other restaurants. It was served in a platter with one big chunk of Dory fish strip with fries on the side. It was very filling. In fact, I couldn’t finish 1 order.

If you are looking for fish dishes that’s sure to fill your belly, try Fish and Co. You get to eat great food and still not feel guilty!
