What are the latest events in Manila? Well, Manila Reviews was invited to take part in Cherry Mobile Philippines’ event to present Kim Chiu as their new mobile phones endorser (John Lloyd Cruz is the current endorser). Cherry Mobile is a relatively new mobile phone in the Philippines that was only introduced last 2009. What makes this new mobile phone in the Philippines unique from the other cell phone manufacturers is that most, if not all of their products, are affordable mobile phones that are dual SIM.
Together with presenting Kim Chiu as the next new mobile phones endorser, they introduced three of Cherry Mobile’s new cell phones. As of date, Cherry Mobile has 45 handsets in their suit of products and they plan to have and introduce 60 new mobile phones this year.
These new mobile phones in the Philippines are 2 dual SIM mobile phones and one triple SIM phone.
The first new mobile phone is the Q5i. It has a QWERTY keypad, 1.3 MP compatible camera, dual SIM/ dual standby, touchpad navigation, multimedia player, Bluetooth, Flashlight, Wolfson Audio Chipset, GPRS / MMs capable and a Micro SD up to 4GB. This product is endorsed by Cherry Mobile phone’s current endorser, John Lloyd Cruz. Just as how a product matches the personality of its product endorser, the Cherry Mobile Q5i is a great gift for dynamic and hip males. It is sold for Php 3,490.
The other new affordable mobile for in the Philippines is the X90 Blush. This is the phone that Kim Chiu, the new cherry Mobile Phone product endorser, presented during the Cherry Mobile launch. It has some unique, female-oriented features and functionalities. To read more about this phone, Manila Fitness did a pretty comprehensive review. These features should attract more of the female market (mostly teenagers and young adults) and the health conscious market. Kim Chiu was definitely a good choice for a product endorser.
Manila Reviews is considering buying the third mobile phone presented by Cherry Mobile. It’s the Trident. It has triple SIM or can accommodate three SIM cards. I haven’t heard yet of such a feature in any of the mobile phones in the Philippines, but I think this is definitely different. It also has WiFi, touchpad, 2.0 MP Camera, document viewer (Word and Excel), Analog TV with Record, G- Sensor, Google Maps and Micro SD up to 4G. This sells for Php 6,490.
The event was very well attended. Media and the press people were there. Fellow bloggers were there to cover the event (Tips on how to cover and blogs about an event). The dealers and distributors were also there to participate – to welcome the Cherry Mobile’s new mobile phone product endorser, Kim Chiu and to see the current product endorser, John Lloyd Cruz. Everyone was there to show support for the three new Cherry Mobile cell phones, the Cherry Mobile Trident, Cherry Mobile x90 blush and the Cherry mobile Q5i.
Cherry Mobile Cell Phones are offered by various distributors and dealers. They have a concept store at SM North EDSA, CDO and 3 more others in the Philippines. They also have kiosks, where you can buy Cherry Mobile phones.
